Air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP) is a job profile in Air Traffic Control. The term was coined by ICAO. ATSEP are electronic engineers in charge of creating and supporting ground-based electronic hardware and software systems used to support air navigation and air traffic management.

The required competencies are defined in the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) published in ICAO Annex 10 and guidance material in ICAO Doc 7192 - AN/857 Part E2 - Training Manual for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) (source: Skybrary).
